Job Description
We’re looking for highly motivated and hospitality oriented Line Cooks who can:
*Work well in a team environment
*Adhere to and ensure proper kitchen safety procedures are followed at all times
*Adhere to and ensure all food is handled according to Department of Health (DOH) food safety and quality standards, as designated by Chef, Sous Chef or other designated Kitchen Supervisor
*Maintain all working areas in a clean and sanitary manner
*Restock any necessary items needed to perform duties
*Operate kitchen related, industrial grade appliances, including hot stoves and mixers
*Other related duties, as assigned.
About You:
*You have a minimum of 2 years cooking experience, preferably in high volume, fast paced environments
*You have an excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
*You are able to work with accuracy and speed in a clean, sanitary and organized way
*You must be comfortable working a full-time schedule, with some varying hours
*You must be comfortable working on your feet for long periods of time
*You must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 30lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
*You must have either a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or higher OR you must have one year of related experience and/or training OR an equivalent experience of BOTH
