Fabricate and assemble a variety of plastic bottles, carboys, tanks, tubing, and related components into finished products. Perform welding, bonding, bending, and cutting in accordance with customer specifications and company standards.

  1. Follow the developed layouts and plans for the sequence of fabrication tasks.
  2. Read and interpret measurements using calipers, tape measures, and rulers.
  3. Position parts in jigs, fixtures, or clamps along layout marks on the worktable.
  4. Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32”
  5. Select, mark, cut, or bend materials as specified by work orders.
  6. Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including hot air welders (similar to soldering), mills, drill presses, saws, flange forming machines, tubing benders, ultraviolet curing machines, and lathes.
  7. Assemble, construct, bond, and/or weld components in accordance with work order specifications.
  8. Record lot numbers for all products and materials used.
  9. Monitor work to ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and compliance with quality standards including that workpieces conform to specified requirements.
  10. Clean finished products using designated chemicals or cleaning agents; use non-linting wipes as directed.
  11. Test completed products using electrical leak testers, pressure and vacuum methods, or other procedures as required by material or product type, document test results accordingly.
  12. Balance individual responsibilities while contributing to a positive team environment.
  13. Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet productivity targets.
  14. Observe safety procedures and use equipment and materials appropriately.
  15. Support company goals and values, adhere to policies and maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
  16. Maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment and ensure a safe, organized work environment.
  17. Performs additional job duties as assigned.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 4+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical schooling or certification in machining or welding, a plus.

  1. Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
  2. Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, blueprints, BoM’s and quality documentation.
  3. Excellent attention to detail.
  4. Ability to work with precision tools and follow detailed work instructions.
  5. Solid math skills including percentages, area, volume, and basic geometry.
  6. Experience using fabrication equipment such as Plastic welders (similar to soldering), mills, drill presses, Hand Drills, benders, saws, and lathes.
