Dietary Aide

Valley Manor Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our dietary services team.

For more than 50 years, Valley Manor has served the local community by providing high-quality skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care services. Our Dietary Department plays an important role in supporting the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents.

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

• Assist with preparing and serving meals, beverages, and snacks

• Set up and deliver resident meal trays accurately and on time

• Follow resident diet orders, portion guidelines, and food-allergy precautions

• Collect meal trays and clean dining and kitchen areas

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and food-service equipment

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment

• Stock food, supplies, and disposable items as needed

• Follow food-safety, sanitation, infection-control, and facility procedures

• Communicate resident meal concerns or preferences to the appropriate team member

• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents, visitors, and staff

• Complete other dietary duties as assigned

• Previous food-service, healthcare, or long-term care experience preferred

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry food-service supplies

• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness, safety, and resident satisfaction

• Full-time or part-time

• Weekday and weekend availability may be required

• Flexible scheduling based on facility needs
