Salary: Up to $145,000 per year (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

The ADON / Risk Management Nurse (RN) supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations while leading the facility’s risk management and quality assurance initiatives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing risk exposure, and promoting resident safety and clinical excellence.

ADON / Risk Management Nurse (RN) Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in daily clinical operations

  • Provide supervision, guidance, and support to nursing staff

  • Participate in staffing oversight and performance management

  • Promote clinical best practices and adherence to standards of care

Risk Management & Compliance
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses

  • Monitor and track adverse events, trends, and corrective actions

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Support survey readiness and coordinate responses to audits

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to reduce liability exposure

Quality Assurance
  • Participate in QAPI initiatives

  • Analyze clinical data and implement performance improvement plans

  • Monitor infection control, falls prevention, wound care, and medication management programs

ADON / Risk Management Nurse (RN) Qualifications
  • Active and unencumbered RN license

  • Prior experience in skilled nursing or long-term care

  • Leadership experience (ADON, Unit Manager, or similar role preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management practices

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive clinical outcomes

Salary: Up to $145,000 per year
