Job Details Salary: $16 to $19 per hour Job Type: Full Time Location: Hickory, NC 28602 Position Summary The Express Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing lube, oil, filter, and multi-point service inspections on customer vehicles. This role ensures excellent customer service, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Primary Duties Perform all lube, oil, filter, and multi-point inspection procedures accurately and efficiently. Identify additional vehicle service needs and communicate them to management and customers. Maintain vehicle cleanliness during servicing. Ensure high-quality service and notify management of any substandard parts or processes. Follow all OSHA and EPA safety guidelines and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Support team members by sharing knowledge and promoting a positive workplace. Demonstrate professional conduct including excellent attendance, punctuality, and a positive attitude. Carry out any additional duties as assigned by management. Work Environment This position requires working in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, and varying weather conditions. The role includes physical demands such as lifting up to 100 lbs, standing, sitting, bending, reaching, and operating tools and equipment safely. Why Join Us? Job Requirement:Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is recommended but not required. At least one year of experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice. Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) according to company policy. Local state inspection license preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to work in a shop setting with exposure to noise, dust, odors, fumes, chemicals, and adhesives. Capability to lift up to 100 pounds regularly. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to handle tools and equipment. Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching as needed. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Safe operation of equipment and vehicle movement in the workplace.
