Job Summary
At Jumper Bean Daycare & Preschool, we are expanding within our preschool building and opening new infant classrooms for the upcoming school year. We are seeking a caring and dependable Assistant Infant teacher who enjoys working with young children and supporting a positive, nurturing classroom environment.

The Assistant Infant Teacher will work closely with the Lead Teacher to support daily routines, assist with activities, and help maintain a safe, structured, and engaging classroom. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Lead Teacher in creating and maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Support implementation of age-appropriate activities and daily routines
  • Help maintain consistent routines for diapering, meals, naps, and play
  • Ensure proper supervision and safety at all times
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
  • Assist with monitoring and documenting children’s daily activities as needed
  • Follow all OCFS regulations and center policies
  • Support classroom organization and cleanliness throughout the day
  • Work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher and other staff

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a child care setting
  • Interest in early childhood education and child development
  • CDA certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Reliable, responsible, patient, and positive attitude
  • Passion for working with young children and supporting their development
