Controller

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Controller to join our team in Chester Township, PA. As a key member of the company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our accouning operations and ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting and bookeeping. • Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare and present monthly financial statements and reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and accounting standards.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights to drive financial performance.
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors.
• Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships to optimize financial resources.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance in the construction industry or in a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
