Ambulatory Medical Assistant – Phlebotomy & EKG Focus Role snapshot

• Location: Lexington, MA 02421
• Type: 20-week contract
• Pay: $29.00–$32.00 per hour (W2)
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (40 hrs/week)

What you’ll do

• Room patients and record vital signs: blood pressure, height, and weight.
• Perform EKGs and phlebotomy in an outpatient primary care setting.
• Run and document POC tests per protocol.
• Schedule diagnostic imaging and laboratory studies; manage follow-up logistics.
• Stock and sanitize exam rooms; track medical supply inventory.
• Use Epic for documentation, orders, and appointment coordination.
• Support patient care operations to maintain clinic flow and efficiency.

Must-haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Medical Assistant.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• Epic experience.
• POC testing experience.
• Experience scheduling diagnostic and lab tests.
• Proven ability with blood pressure measurement and core MA duties.
• Live within 20 miles of the facility.

Nice to have

• Medical Assistant Certification.
