Job Summary
Adventist Health Twin Cities is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to provide advanced perioperative nursing care by assisting surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting the surgical team throughout the perioperative process. This EXCLUSIVE EPIC Assignment requires current Epic EMR experience.
Requirements
Current Epic EMR experience required
Previous RNFA/First Assist experience required
Recent Operating Room (OR) experience required
Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing and sterile technique
Ability to work rotating shifts and collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams
Required Credentials
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certification or documented RN First Assist qualification
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (AHA)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred
Current Epic EMR experience (required)
