As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Mark Doyle - State Farm Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, building strong relationships, handling day-to-day policy service needs and helping customers understand their coverage. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide friendly, professional and personalized service to our customers
- Answer customer questions regarding auto, home, renters, life and other insurance policies
- Process policy changes, payments, certificates, vehicle changes, address changes and other service requests
- Review customer accounts and identify opportunities to improve coverage or address insurance needs
- Explain insurance products and coverage in a clear and easy-to-understand manner
- Assist customers with claims by providing information and directing them to the appropriate claim's resources
- Follow up with customers to ensure their questions and service needs have been resolved
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service mindset and genuine desire to help people
- Professional, positive, and dependable attitude
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy office environment
- Comfortable using computers, email, and agency software
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team member
- Insurance experience or active insurance license is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Prior to employment, must successfully complete State of Iowa licensing requirements for property & casualty as well as life & health.
