United Talent is immediately hiring an assistant manager for a restaurant in Logan WV!
Job Duties:
- Assist in managing all daily restaurant operations.
- Supervise, coach, and motivate team members.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and promptly resolve guest concerns.
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating employees.
- Monitor labor costs and assist with staffing needs.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently met.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant.
- Complete opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
- Handle cash management responsibilities, including deposits, register counts, and reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with health department regulations and food safety standards.
- Assist in achieving sales goals and controlling operational costs.
- Step into any position within the restaurant as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Pay and shift: Shift is flexible salary s 60k+ based on experience.
Requirements:
- Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system knowledge.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
- Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be flexible with scheduling, including working on short notice, overtime, extended shifts, and being on call to meet business demands.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Reliable childcare is required. Attendance and schedule flexibility are essential functions of this position.
