Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resource professional to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing employees, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee human resource programs, including new hire orientation, employee personnel files, recruitment, retention, compensation, benefits, performance management, workforce planning, disciplinary matters, grievances, and investigations

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with organization goals

  • Interpret and administer the collective bargaining agreement

  • Coach and support leaders in providing feedback, documenting performance outcomes, and employee development as needed

  • Develop strategies that result in the successful attraction, recruitment, and retention of staff

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommend best practices

  • Lead and manage a variety of projects and initiatives

  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, recruitment, and employment law

  • Manage employee time and attendance

  • Quarterly Financial Statement distribution

  • Experience with managing workers' compensation

  • Knowledgeable of OSHA 300 log

Requirements:

  • Three or more years of experience in Human Resources

  • BA/BS or equivalent, related experience

  • Professional level knowledge of State and Federal employment laws

  • Knowledge of business planning and performance improvement

  • Ability to work and produce results under pressure

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills: ability to quickly identify problems and find effective solutions

  • Ability to work and produce results under pressure

  • Fundamentals of accounting practices and agency reimbursement programs
