At Ellen’s Snowballs & Old Fashioned Malts in Covington, LA, we’re all about serving up delicious desserts and creating a welcoming experience for our customers. We’re hiring a friendly and energetic Counter Attendant/Food Clerk to join our team and help us continue our tradition of great service and tasty treats!

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Counter Attendant/Food Clerk, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring every customer leaves happy and satisfied. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

• Taking customer orders at the counter with a warm and friendly attitude.
• Preparing snowballs, ice cream, and other dessert menu items quickly and efficiently.
• Keeping your workspace clean, organized, and up to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assisting with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
• Working closely with your teammates to keep service running smoothly, even during busy shifts.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who’s ready to jump in and contribute to our team. Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role:

• No prior experience required—on-the-job training is provided!
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• A commitment to punctuality and reliability.
• A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work shifts primarily between:
• 2:30 PM to 8:30 PM
• 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM
• 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  Total weekly hours range from 20 to 35 hours.
