Sanitation Technician
Location: Monroe, WI
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Start Date: ASAP
Available Shifts & Pay Rates
  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–11:00 PM — $21.95 per hour
Retention Bonus
Earn up to $1,000 after permanent hire:
  • $500 after 3 months of direct employment
  • Additional $500 after 6 months of direct employment
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sanitation Associate to support sanitation and production operations in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and compliant facility, operating sanitation systems, handling cleaning chemicals, staging materials for production, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Pull and stage materials for production according to daily schedules.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and walkie forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and work areas.
  • Operate and monitor CIP (Clean-In-Place) systems.
  • Verify chemical concentrations, temperatures, flow rates, and cleaning cycles.
  • Follow sanitation procedures and standard operating practices.
  • Complete sanitation and production documentation accurately.
  • Maintain chemical inventory and usage records.
  • Monitor facility and equipment conditions to ensure cleanliness and compliance.
  • Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
  • Adhere to all GMP, PPE, safety, sanitation, and workplace policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous sanitation experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Experience handling cleaning chemicals safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
