In-Person and Telehealth Position

Pay: $80–$90 per hour


About Us

Neurosprout ABA is a Maryland-based ABA therapy provider committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality services for children with autism and developmental delays. We provide in-home and community-based ABA therapy and are expanding our diagnostic evaluation team.

We are currently seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) to conduct autism and developmental evaluations for children using evidence-based assessment tools aligned with DSM-5 criteria.

Position Overview

This position includes both in-person and telehealth evaluations. The clinician will conduct comprehensive autism and developmental evaluations, caregiver interviews, diagnostic assessments, and written reports to support treatment planning and insurance authorization.

Strong administrative and back-office support is provided.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct autism and developmental diagnostic evaluations for children

  • Administer and interpret standardized assessment tools, including:

    • CARS-2

    • GARS-3 or equivalent

    • M-CHAT-R/F

    • Optional: TELE-ASD-PEDS or BOSA

  • Conduct caregiver interviews and clinical observations

  • Evaluate for related developmental and behavioral concerns, including:

    • ADHD

    • Speech and language delays

    • Cognitive and developmental delays

  • Complete comprehensive diagnostic reports with clinical recommendations and ICD-10 diagnoses

  • Collaborate with the clinical team regarding treatment recommendations as needed

Schedule
  • Choose your own hours

  • Approximately 10–12 hours per week

  • Flexible scheduling

Qualifications

  • Active Maryland PMHNP license or Maryland Psychologist license

  • Experience evaluating children with autism spectrum disorder preferred

  • Familiarity with DSM-5 diagnostic criteria

  • Comfortable with both in-person and telehealth evaluations

  • Strong clinical writing and assessment skills
