Job Description
Travel Nurse Practitioner - Rural AZ
We are searching for a mission-driven, independent, highly organized, responsive and detail-oriented nurse practitioner to serve indigenous veterans.
Role Summary
Travel nurse practitioner serving veterans in rural Arizona VA/IHS clinics
M-F 8 am - 4:30 pm 2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off (no evenings or weekends)
6-8 patients per day
Pay rate $1,000 per day
Travel and lodging covered
Bonus of $1,000 upon completion of credentialing
Paid orientation and training (in Prescott, AZ)
90 day credentialing process (This is a federal process and requires daily engagement)
Qualifications
Active Arizona license (or willingness to obtain one)
Active National Certification (AANP or ANCC)
Clean background, license and malpractice history (fingerprinting required)
Minimum of 2 years of experience an as NP in a primary care role
Comfortable traveling rural Arizona
Strong documentation and computer skills
Personal laptop required
Preferred
Experience working with veterans
Experience working on IHS reservations or tribal health settings
