Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN | 12-Hour Shifts | Veterans Facility
📍 Flagstaff, AZ
💼 PRN / As Needed
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Veterans care facility in Flagstaff, AZ. This is a PRN opportunity offering flexible scheduling and meaningful work supporting a geriatric population.
⏰ Schedule:
PRN / As Needed (no guaranteed hours)
12-hour shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Day and night shifts available
💼 Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications and perform treatments within scope of RN license
Complete admission assessments and assist with MDS care planning
Monitor and assess resident conditions; report changes appropriately
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and EMR records
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Supervise and support CNA/LPN staff as needed
Assist with ADLs when required (bathing, dressing, mobility, etc.)
Participate in shift reports, staff training, and quality improvement initiatives
Utilize AMS tools for problem-solving and process improvement
'05; Requirements:
Active RN License (Arizona)
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required (LTC or skilled nursing preferred)
CPR/BLS certification required
Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card

Ability to pass:
7-year background check (OIG/APS clearance)
Drug screen
Competency testing
TB test, Hepatitis B status, and COVID vaccination documentation required
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
⭐ Preferred:
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
Knowledge of geriatric nursing and care planning
Familiarity with MDS and interdisciplinary team collaboration
