Overview of the Position:
Job Title: Cardiologist
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Hours & Schedule: Full-time; Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Travel Required: Minimal; occasional local conferences or outreach
Salary / Hourly Rate: $350,000 - $450,000 annually
Bonus Offered: Performance-based bonus up to $50,000 annually

Sign-On Bonus / Relocation Offer: Negotiable
On Call Required: Rotational on-call schedule, approximately one weekend per month
Job Summary:
As a Cardiologist, you will diagnose and treat patients with heart-related conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular disorders. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care while utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and treatment protocols. This role involves patient consultations, interpretation of tests, and collaboration with other specialists.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations
- Prescribe and manage treatments for patients with cardiovascular conditions
- Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists to coordinate care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and families on managing heart conditions, medications, and lifestyle changes
- Stay updated on new medical research and technology in the cardiology field
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure emergency cardiac care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology
- Board Certification or Board Eligible
- Active state medical license (or able to obtain)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
