Construction Project Manager - Wastewater Industrial Projects
Job Description
We are hiring a Construction Project Manager to lead a large, multi-year industrial wastewater project just outside of Twin Falls, Idaho. This Construction Project Manager works alongside engineering and business development teams to develop scope, plan construction work, qualify contractors, and manage the subcontractor and vendor bid process. During construction you own project financials, construction administration, and coordination with the on-site Construction Manager supporting field operations.

Key Responsibilities - Construction Project Manager
- Establish, lead, and manage the project team from pre-construction through completion and warranty. Oversee day-to-day site operations in coordination with the on-site Construction Manager.
- Create and maintain the project schedule, budget, and cost projections. Manage scope, schedule, and budget changes and keep the client informed throughout.
- Support the engineering team with scope development, cost budgeting, and estimating. Qualify contractors and oversee the subcontractor and vendor bid process.
- Perform construction administration including contracts, purchase orders, change orders, submittals, RFIs, owner training, closeout, and as-built documentation.
- Enforce safety programs, training, and policies across subcontractors, vendors, site personnel, and visitors.
Qualifications - Construction Project Manager
- 5 or more years of experience as a Construction Project Manager in industrial civil, mechanical, or general construction.
- Documented history running projects valued from $5,000,000 to $50,000,000, including multiple concurrent jobs.
- Working knowledge of industrial water and wastewater processes, mechanical and building systems, electrical, HVAC, boilers, thermal systems, and controls.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and understand contract terms and conditions.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and independent problem solving.
Preferred Qualifications - Industrial Construction Project Manager
- BA or BS in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or Facilities Management.
- Prior experience on municipal or industrial wastewater treatment plant construction or upgrades.
- Background in energy services, energy efficiency retrofits, or performance contracting delivery models.
- Experience managing self-perform and subcontracted scopes on the same project.
- Proficiency with scheduling and project controls software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Procore.
Physical Requirements - Construction Project Manager
- Primarily on-site during the work week at an active industrial construction site.
- Frequent travel required; relocation to Twin Falls is not required.
- Walk uneven terrain, climb ladders and stairs, and access confined or elevated work areas.
- Lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Work outdoors in variable weather and in environments with noise, dust, and moving equipment; PPE required.
