Pay: $115,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year

Location: Ankeny or Carroll, Iowa — on-site, with a collaborative and supportive environment focused on teamwork, mentorship, and client relationships.
Note: Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and 5+ years of directly relevant bridge or structural engineering experience.

Job Description
- Serve as lead engineer and/or project manager for bridge projects from planning through completion.
- Perform structural analysis, design calculations, bridge detailing, and specification development.
- Develop bridge quantities and construction cost estimates.
- Review and check engineering calculations and design work for accuracy and quality.
- Coordinate project tasks, assign work, and provide technical guidance to engineering staff.
- Apply strong technical judgment to solve complex bridge and structural engineering challenges.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver successful projects.
- Support client development, proposals, and project pursuits.
- Help ensure projects meet technical, schedule, budget, and client expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of bridge or structural engineering experience.
- Strong bridge design and structural analysis experience.
- Experience leading engineering projects or serving in a technical leadership capacity.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- MicroStation experience preferred.
- Master's degree preferred.
