We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Office Manager to join our team at Golden Rose Care Center, a skilled nursing and subacute facility providing comprehensive post-acute, long-term, and high-acuity clinical care. As a Business Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall business office operations run smoothly and efficiently, safeguarding facility assets, and maximizing cash flow.
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Business Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the business office, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, and providing support to the administrative staff. Your duties will include:

Ensures that all residents are treated fairly, with kindness, dignity, and respect, and their rights are protected at all times
Compiles, audits, and documents accounting/financial data for the Care Center
Performs other related duties as required
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Demonstrates knowledge of facility and departmental quality improvement activities and/or participates in quality improvement meetings
• Recommends any equipment and supplies needed for the department as well as any departmental improvements
• Participates in and/or leads on-the-job training, in-service education, and orientation programs
• Assists in development of department budget and ensures expenses are within budgeted parameters
• Oversees payroll function, ensuring its accuracy and timeliness
• Oversees the Resident Trust Account and assures that all regulations are followed regarding the fund
• Ensures that all business records and files are accurate, complete, and up-to-date
• Performs follow-up reviews of issues identified by financial/administrative review and internal audit reports
REQUIREMENTS:
2-4 years experience in a healthcare billing, preferably in long-term care environment
Bachelor's or Associate degree from an accredited college with specialization in business or accounting preferred
Supervisory experience required
Public Notary preferred
Ability to understand and implement healthcare reimbursement, billing, and accounting principles
Ability to understand, control, and track direct spending and labor budgets
