Housekeeper/Maintenance
Type Position: Full Time
Starting Pay: $19/hr., with the possibility of an increase based on performance.
Schedule: Dayshift hours - TBD
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our Housekeeping and Maintenance Department. This position includes general cleaning, property upkeep, trash collection, and physically demanding duties. The selected candidate must also be willing to learn basic maintenance skills, including troubleshooting minor air-conditioning issues and assisting with routine repairs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning and collect trash and recycling throughout the property.
- Learn and perform light maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting minor air-conditioning issues and smoke detectors.
- Assist with routine repairs and preventive maintenance under the direction of management or qualified personnel.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical aptitude and an interest in developing maintenance skills are preferred.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Able to perform physically demanding duties, including frequent lifting, bending.
- Able to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50lbs unassisted.
- Willing and able to learn basic maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year relevant experience
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills (English)
