We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to provide an efficient and welcoming checkout experience for our customers.

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Accurately scan merchandise and process purchases and payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, provide correct change, and maintain accountability for your assigned drawer.
• Answer customer questions about products, pricing, departments, and store procedures.
• Respond professionally to customer concerns and involve a supervisor when needed.
• Follow established payment, return, exchange, and store procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable checkout area.
• Work efficiently and maintain a sense of urgency during busy periods while ensuring transaction accuracy.
• Communicate and work cooperatively with team members and assist other areas as needed.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as needed to support the team and business.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cashier, grocery, retail, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.
• POS systems and cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Basic math skills and strong attention to transaction accuracy.
• Ability to remain professional and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, honest, and accountable when handling payments.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements associated with scanning merchandise, handling payments, and operating a POS system.
