We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support procurement-focused initiatives for a contract position based in Boulder, Colorado. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and can coordinate cross-functional supply chain and purchasing activities while driving process efficiency and operational consistency. The selected candidate will help manage project-based procurement work, align stakeholders, and contribute to improvements across purchasing and logistics functions.

Responsibilities:
• Lead procurement-related projects by organizing timelines, priorities, and deliverables across supply chain and purchasing teams.
• Coordinate purchasing workflows, including support for purchase request activities and follow-through with internal business partners.
• Partner with stakeholders to evaluate current operational processes and recommend practical improvements that enhance efficiency and consistency.
• Oversee project communication among logistics, supply chain, and procurement groups to keep workstreams aligned and on schedule.
• Support global supply chain initiatives by tracking dependencies, addressing risks, and helping resolve execution challenges.
• Analyze business process functions within purchasing operations and translate findings into actionable project plans.
• Collaborate with procurement leadership and department contacts to maintain progress on project objectives and implementation efforts.
• Monitor key milestones, document status updates, and provide clear reporting on project performance and next steps.• 5+ years of experience in project management within procurement, supply chain, logistics, or a related operational environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of purchasing processes, including purchase requests and broader procurement support activities.
• Experience working with supply chain logistics and cross-functional business operations in a project-based setting.
• Ability to assess business processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives within purchasing or supply chain functions.
• Familiarity with global supply chain environments and the coordination required across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage priorities, track deliverables, and keep projects moving in a structured manner.
