Job Title: Warehouse Associate / Material Handler
Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate / Material Handler to support daily warehouse and inventory operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will receive and process incoming shipments, maintain accurate inventory records, kit materials for production, and prepare outbound shipments, while helping to keep the warehouse clean, organized, and efficient.

- Receive incoming materials, parts, and equipment in a timely and accurate manner.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure correct quantities and items.
- Inspect shipments for accuracy, visible damage, and proper documentation before acceptance.
- Label, tag, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations following established procedures.
- Pick and kit components for production orders and work orders based on daily requirements.
- Record and maintain accurate inventory transactions within company systems.
- Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits to support inventory accuracy and control.
- Package materials and completed kits for shipment, ensuring proper protection, labeling, and handling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following housekeeping and safety standards.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Work closely with production, purchasing, and operations teams to support business needs and resolve inventory issues.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while handling materials and operating equipment.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, receiving, or material handling roles.
- Hands-on experience with receiving and inventory control processes.
- Forklift operating experience and certification, or the ability to become certified through company-provided training.
- Proficiency in basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate receiving, labeling, and inventory transactions.
- Solid organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain an orderly warehouse.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with production, purchasing, and operations teams.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to frequently bend, kneel, twist, and lift materials as part of daily tasks.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 70 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience using inventory management or warehouse management systems.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures, including packaging and documentation.
- Experience with order picking, order selection, and kitting activities.
- Experience in logistics and material handling best practices.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office for basic reporting and communication.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Rockledge, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
