Job Description
This role focuses on performing maintenance and repairs on a wide range of corporate aircraft in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure all work complies with FAA-approved technical data and certified repair station guidelines, while accurately documenting maintenance activities to support safe and timely aircraft release.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of corporate aircraft including Global Express, Gulfstream, Challenger, Citation, Phenom 300, and King Air models.
- Carry out aircraft maintenance in strict accordance with FAA-approved technical data and certified repair station procedures.
- Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, drawings, and specifications to determine repair methods and feasibility for malfunctioning or damaged components.
- Inspect, service, and maintain aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components to meet established deadlines and performance goals.
- Accurately complete all maintenance documentation, work orders, and return-to-service (RTS) paperwork in line with repair station guidelines.
- Ensure meticulous attention to detail when preparing and submitting paperwork required to release aircraft back to service.
- Communicate promptly with supervisors, site representatives, and maintenance control center (MCC) regarding any changes in aircraft status.
- Provide coverage for phone calls and communications when the supervisor is not present, ensuring continuous information flow.
- Navigate effectively within a service hub or A.O.G. (Aircraft on Ground) environment to support timely resolution of maintenance issues.
- Perform troubleshooting using a multimeter and calibrated testing equipment to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Assist with maintenance shop cleanup, organization, and basic office duties to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
- Use Microsoft Office and Apple products to support documentation, communication, and reporting needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Valid FAA A&P License
- Preferred experience on one or more of the following aircraft models: Challenger 350, Challenger 650, Global 5000/6000, Phenom 300, Cessna Citation, Gulfstream 450/550.
- Ability to work effectively within a Service Hub or A.O.G. environment.

- Ability to work effectively within a Service Hub or A.O.G. environment.
- Confidence and professionalism in handling phone coverage and communications when leadership is not present.
- Strong working relationship and good chemistry with supervisors and team members.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications and Apple products for documentation and communication.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and performance goals in a maintenance setting.

Work Environment
This position operates primarily in a maintenance hangar and service hub environment, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends as needed to support aircraft availability. You will work around corporate aircraft and associated ground support equipment, using calibrated testing tools, computers with Microsoft Office, and Apple devices for documentation and communication. The environment requires adherence to standard safety practices and appropriate maintenance shop attire suitable for hands-on aircraft work.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
