Material Handler
Job Description
The Material Handler accurately pulls parts for assemblies, returns parts to the appropriate locations from the receiving area, and ensures all materials are clearly identified with printed labels. This role follows all safety policies and procedures while working collaboratively with team members in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Pull parts and components from inventory to support assemblies according to work orders and instructions.
- Return parts and materials from the receiving area to their designated storage locations in an organized manner.
- Print and apply labels to parts, bins, and materials to ensure accurate identification and traceability.
- Use pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move, stage, and store products safely.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping and receiving in accordance with warehouse procedures.
- Perform general labor tasks in the warehouse and manufacturing areas as needed to support operations.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory movements, confirm picks, and update stock levels accurately.
- Maintain accurate inventory by following established material handling and documentation processes.
- Follow all applicable safety policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times.
- Work effectively with team members to meet production, shipping, and receiving goals.
- Use basic computer applications to enter data, print labels, and complete required documentation.
- Previous warehousing experience.
- Experience with picking, packing, shipping, and receiving activities.
- Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts for material handling.
- Material handling experience, including pulling orders and moving inventory.
- Inventory handling and basic inventory control skills.
- Ability to use an RF scanner for tracking and confirming inventory movements.
- Capability to lift 40+ pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to perform basic tasks on a computer, including data entry and label printing.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Comfort with general labor tasks, including manual material handling.
- Attention to detail when labeling, picking, and recording inventory.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with coworkers.
- Reliability and consistency in following established safety and operational procedures.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a clean manufacturing facility with a climate-controlled environment that supports comfort and productivity. Work is performed in warehouse and production areas using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and RF scanners. The setting emphasizes safety, organization, and teamwork, with clear procedures for shipping, receiving, and inventory handling. Typical duties involve standing, walking, lifting up to and over 40 pounds, and using computers and handheld devices throughout the shift.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.18 - $19.18/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
