Job Title: Project Manager - Preconstruction and ConstructionJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee preconstruction and construction projects, ensuring effective management of scope, budget, schedule, and coordination with architects, engineers, clients, and contractors.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts, proposals, AIA agreements, fees, and change orders.
  • Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, cost analyses, bid packages, bid tabs, and Division 01 specifications.
  • Oversee bidding and procurement processes, including handling RFIs, vendor pricing, contractor selection, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Manage construction execution with daily oversight, quality control, safety reviews, risk management, and authority to correct or stop deficient work.
  • Monitor financial performance, approve invoices, manage invoicing, and ensure projects meet budget and profit targets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors, and participate in client presentations and business development.
  • Communicate project status across teams and leadership, ensuring compliance with company policies and proper resource utilization.
  • Identify process improvements, new technologies, and industry best practices, pursuing ongoing professional development.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or construction-related discipline.
  • 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager or Project Manager.
  • Proficiency with construction documentation, accounting, and project management software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in commercial construction and estimation.
Work Environment

The position is based in the York, PA office, with occasional job site visits within 1 to 1.5 hours of the office. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $62.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
