We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead technology operations and long-term planning for a healthcare organization in Golden Valley, Minnesota. This role will guide the performance, security, and evolution of core systems that support clinical care, business operations, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of technical leadership, healthcare technology knowledge, and the ability to partner effectively with executive, clinical, and operational stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
• Shape and carry out a technology roadmap that supports organizational priorities, operational efficiency, and high-quality patient care.
• Oversee daily IT operations across infrastructure, cloud environments, networks, end-user support, and enterprise applications to maintain reliable service delivery.
• Direct the performance, integration, and ongoing improvement of clinical and business systems, including electronic health records, imaging platforms, and practice management tools.
• Lead modernization initiatives involving telehealth, automation, artificial intelligence, and patient-facing technologies to enhance service delivery and user experience.
• Establish and monitor cybersecurity practices, risk controls, incident response procedures, and business continuity plans in alignment with healthcare compliance expectations.
• Manage technology budgets, assess investment priorities, and recommend solutions that provide strong operational and strategic value.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders on system implementations, upgrades, and other technology projects from planning through adoption.
• Build, mentor, and support the IT team while promoting accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement across the function.
• Partner with physicians, clinical teams, and operational leaders to improve workflows, strengthen adoption, and translate business needs into practical technical solutions.• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of IT experience, including work with healthcare technology and data integration.
• 2 or more years of people leadership experience with responsibility for coaching, developing, and managing teams.
• Demonstrated success working with third-party vendors and delivering technology implementations or system enhancements.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, backup technologies, and enterprise applications.
• Experience with healthcare systems such as Epic and related clinical technology environments is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with tools and platforms such as Active Directory, Cisco technologies, configuration management, and computer hardware support.
• Strong communication and project leadership skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to clinical and business audiences.
