Job Description
As a Process Operator, you will observe all GMP, SOP, and SQF standards. You will be responsible for operating all UHT process equipment, including automation systems, processing machines, and powered industrial trucks, while maintaining high-quality standards.
2nd shift - 2:30pm to 11pm Monday to Fridays (ocasionally saturdays and sundays)
Responsibilities
- Safely work with automated industrial equipment, including operation, changeover, and basic maintenance.
- Report all food safety and quality issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Immediately report any safety issues to the supervisor, maintenance, or management.
- Ensure the overall safety, quality, and efficiency of your work center.
- Maintain a neat and sanitary work area at all times.
- Adhere to dress code and personal protective equipment policies.
- Operate and understand control systems.
- Perform additional duties as instructed by management.
Essential Skills
- Ability to work in a GMP/SOP environment, adhering to safety protocols like wearing hair nets and glasses.
- Capability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Proficient in computer operation and understanding of operating systems.
- Experience operating sit-down forklifts and other machinery.
- Good attendance and ability to work quickly and efficiently.
- At least 2 years of experience in a highly intensive and physical work environment, preferably in manufacturing GMP.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Must complete skill assessments with passing scores.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand system instructions and training materials.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Good standing attendance record, with less than 5 points.
- Experience with SQF, GMP, and SOP training.
- Ability to learn computer systems and use scanning technology.

Work Environment
Work in a food manufacturing environment that complies with all CGMP and HAACP guidelines. The production floor is not climate controlled, so expect colder temperatures in winter and warmer temperatures in summer. Work boots and appropriate hair netting are required, and jewelry is not allowed. Shifts are available as follows: 2nd shift (2:30pm to 11:30pm),

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pennsauken, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.34 - $25.34/hr.
