TIG Welder – Aluminum Structures - Camp Pendleton - 1st Shift

Job Description

The Aluminum TIG Welder performs precision TIG welding on aluminum structures for LCAC (Landing Craft Air Cushion) vessels. This role involves extensive overhead welding and working in confined spaces within a shipyard environment.

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum structures and components.
• Complete overhead welds while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Work in confined spaces on LCAC vessels and related structures.
• Follow welding procedures, blueprints, and safety requirements.
• Maintain welding equipment and support project completion timelines.

• 2-5 years of aluminum TIG welding experience.
• Experience with overhead welding and confined-space work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow welding procedures and safety standards.

• Shipyard or marine industry experience.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility with shift schedules.

• Shipyard environment supporting LCAC operations at Camp Pendleton.
• Initial training provided in a shop setting.
• First-shift schedule with work performed on aluminum marine structures in active industrial settings.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oceanside, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
