Warehouse Associate - Compressor Manufacturing Facility

Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate supports daily material handling and inventory operations within a fast-paced compressor manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for receiving, stocking, staging, moving, and tracking materials to ensure production teams have the parts they need to meet daily output goals. Associates play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, workplace safety, and efficient workflow throughout the facility.

Shift:

1st: 5:00am - 3:00pm

2nd: 3:00pm - 2:00am

3rd: 10:00pm - 6:00am

Pay: $18.00 - $20.70/hr

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, inspect, and put away incoming materials and components
  • Pick, pack, and stage parts for production lines according to work orders
  • Move materials throughout the facility using pallet jacks, carts, and other warehouse equipment
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and inventory tracking systems
  • Verify part numbers, quantities, and product condition before distribution
  • Support shipping and receiving activities, including preparing outbound shipments
  • Ensure production areas remain stocked with materials to prevent downtime
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks and organizing warehouse inventory
  • Report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, and material shortages to supervisors
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while following all safety procedures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred
  • Experience operating pallet jacks, RF scanners, or inventory systems is a plus
  • Ability to accurately pick and track inventory in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in a production and warehouse setting
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing facility
  • Regular exposure to forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment
  • Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and repetitive movements
  • Required use of PPE and adherence to all safety standards and procedures
  • Climate-controlled manufacturing environment with warehouse activity throughout the shift
Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tallahassee, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
