Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead and manage secure construction and tenant fit-out projects. The successful candidate will ensure that work is performed according to plans, specifications, and security requirements. This role demands a hands-on leader who can maintain a strong presence on-site while coordinating all aspects of project management.
Responsibilities- Actively lead secure construction and tenant fit-out projects.
- Coordinate, supervise, and assist with execution of budgeting, financial, and scheduling activities to maintain productivity.
- Manage project schedules, sequencing, and daily work plans while ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met.
- Maintain a visible jobsite presence and lead by example through hands-on involvement.
- Interface directly with clients, property managers, architects, engineers, local officials, and security representatives.
- Monitor and control jobsite conditions, ensuring compliance with safety standards and secure site protocols (ICD 705, NISPOM, etc.).
- Complete and maintain accurate daily documentation, including logs, reports, and inspections.
- Assist with procurement, material coordination, material handling, and support of self-perform trades.
- Uphold high workmanship standards and represent company values through active field leadership.
- Experience in construction, interior construction, and fit-out projects.
- SCIF experience.
- Project management experience in secure construction and tenant fit-out projects.
- Experience in managing quality interior fit-outs.
- Experience in secure construction projects is highly preferred.
- Local experience working in the DMV area on SCIF projects.
The position involves working primarily on-site in Northern Virginia (NOVA) alongside lead Superintendents. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of WARRENTON, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $48.00 - $60.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
