Job Description
We are seeking a hardworking and safety-conscious Scaffold Laborer to support scaffold erection, modification, and dismantling activities on commercial and industrial construction sites. This role is responsible for assisting scaffold crews with transporting materials, assembling scaffold components, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and project requirements. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, can perform physically demanding tasks, and is committed to maintaining a safe and productive job site.
Must not be afraid of heights! All training provided. But must have some type of commercial construction job site experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding systems.
- Load, unload, transport, and organize scaffold materials and equipment.
- Carry scaffold components including frames, planks, braces, and guardrails.
- Assist scaffold builders with measuring, leveling, and securing scaffold structures.
- Inspect materials for damage and report deficiencies to supervisors.
- Follow all company, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to reduce safety hazards.
- Assist with jobsite setup and material staging.
- Use hand tools and power tools as required.
- Participate in daily safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Perform additional labor-related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Essential Skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50+ pounds regularly throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous construction, labor, scaffold, or industrial experience preferred but not required.
- Experience with frame scaffold, system scaffold, or suspended scaffold systems.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience with commercial construction projects.
- Experience operating aerial lifts and scaffolding.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
