What You'll DoAs a MIG Welder, you will:
- Operate MIG welding equipment to weld steel and aluminum components
- Read blueprints, work orders, and production instructions
- Set up welding machines and adjust settings as needed
- Replace welding wire, tips, and consumables
- Inspect finished welds and parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Grind, clean, and finish welds as required
- Load and unload materials on the production line
- Track daily production and report material shortages
- Identify and report equipment issues to maintain efficient operations
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
- Basic MIG welding experience or completion of a welding program
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Experience welding steel or aluminum
- Ability to use measuring tools and inspect finished products

This position requires standing, walking, lifting, and performing hands-on welding tasks throughout the shift.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Crystal Lake, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $49920.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
