Welder/Fitter

Join a growing fabrication team building custom steel projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop. We're looking for a skilled Welder/Fitter who takes pride in quality workmanship, can read fabrication drawings, and has experience working with a variety of metals.

What You'll Do
  • Perform MIG welding on carbon steel and other metal components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings
  • Fit, align, and weld parts to specifications
  • Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy
  • Work closely with team members to ensure safe and efficient production
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
What We're Looking For
  • Experience with MIG welding (Stick welding a plus)
  • Ability to weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
  • Strong blueprint and fabrication drawing interpretation skills
  • Knowledge of shop safety practices and PPE requirements
  • Reliable work ethic and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to pass a MIG weld test on carbon steel
  • Experience with overhead cranes, grinders, and fabrication equipment
  • AWS certification is a plus

Work Environment

Industrial fabrication shop producing large steel structures. Available shifts include Days: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (4-day workweek) and Nights: 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM (3-day workweek). Enjoy a hands-on, collaborative environment where quality craftsmanship is valued.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
