The Production Technician supports CNC machine operations and ensures a smooth, consistent production flow of machined components. In this role, you focus on removing completed parts from automated CNC equipment, performing basic visual inspections, packaging parts, and following established production and quality procedures within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Remove finished parts from CNC machines once the machining cycle is complete, ensuring correct handling and flow to the next process step.
- Perform basic visual inspections on completed parts to identify obvious defects, damage, or inconsistencies before packaging.
- Place finished parts into designated bins, boxes, or packaging according to established production and packaging procedures.
- Follow detailed work instructions, production guidelines, and quality standards to maintain consistent output and product integrity.
- Monitor the production process and promptly notify the appropriate team member of any machine issues, product concerns, or deviations from normal operation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area around CNC machinery and production stations.
- Accurately track production, including part counts and workflow documentation, as required.
- Perform other general production duties as assigned, including basic machine operation support, general labor tasks, and packing activities.
- Use hand tools and basic equipment as needed to support production, inspection, and packaging tasks.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify obvious defects, damage, or inconsistencies during visual inspections.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment around CNC machinery.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic to support consistent production flow.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and move parts and materials as required by production activities.
- Comfort with general production and general labor tasks, including part removal and packing.
- Ability to perform basic inspection tasks to verify product condition and quality.
- Capability to use hand tools safely and correctly in support of machine operation and packaging.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with machine operation or working around CNC equipment is an advantage.
- Familiarity with packing and packaging procedures in a production environment.
- Experience in general production, general labor, or similar roles in an industrial setting.

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing facility working around largely automated CNC machinery. The machines perform the machining process automatically, allowing you to focus on part removal, visual inspection, packaging, and maintaining overall production flow. The environment is fast-paced and production-focused, requiring extended periods of standing and repetitive tasks, as well as lifting and moving parts and materials as needed. You work in an area that must remain clean, organized, and safe, using hand tools and basic equipment to support general production and machine operation activities.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kingsville, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
