We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to guide a complex HRIS implementation effort for an organization based in Red Oak, Texas. This Long-term Contract opportunity will focus on coordinating the rollout of Paycom, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving a smooth deployment for HR and business stakeholders. The person in this role will bring structure to planning, communication, and execution while helping users adapt successfully to the new platform.

Responsibilities:
• Direct the full project lifecycle for the Paycom implementation, from kickoff through deployment and post-launch stabilization.
• Build and maintain detailed timelines, milestone tracking, risk logs, and dependency plans to keep delivery on schedule.
• Partner with HR, payroll, IT, and operational teams to align business needs, resolve issues, and support implementation readiness.
• Act as the central point of contact between internal stakeholders and external implementation partners, ensuring clear accountability and follow-through.
• Lead recurring status meetings, prepare leadership updates, and communicate progress, challenges, and decisions to relevant audiences.
• Capture process flows, business requirements, configuration decisions, and project documentation to support execution and future reference.
• Drive change management activities by preparing communication plans and helping users navigate process and system updates.
• Develop training content and deliver user guidance for HR teams and other employees affected by the new system.
• Identify roadblocks early, escalate critical concerns when needed, and implement practical solutions to maintain project momentum.• At least 5 years of project management experience supporting HR technology, enterprise software, or comparable implementation initiatives.
• Demonstrated success leading HRIS deployments, platform migrations, or related system transformation projects.
• Strong working knowledge of HR, payroll, benefits, and associated operational workflows.
• Experience coordinating third-party vendors, implementation consultants, and cross-functional business teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings and produce clear documentation.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Background in training end users and supporting organizational change during system implementations.
• Previous exposure to Paycom or similar HR platforms such as Workday, Ceridian, Oracle HCM, or SAP SuccessFactors is preferred.
