We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Generalist to support a compliance-focused initiative for a plastics manufacturing organization in Cincinnati, Ohio. This Long-term Contract position will play an important role in reviewing employee-related documentation, confirming required agreements are properly maintained, and helping strengthen reporting accuracy. The ideal candidate brings a background in HR operations or compliance, exercises excellent judgment with sensitive records, and works confidently with spreadsheets and tracking tools.

Responsibilities:
• Review role rosters to determine which positions require employment-related legal agreements and confirm documentation requirements are met
• Examine personnel records to verify whether signed agreements are on file and accurately documented
• Identify missing, incomplete, or outdated agreements and organize findings for follow-up action
• Maintain tracking logs and spreadsheets to monitor document status, compliance progress, and outstanding items
• Prepare clear reports and status updates for stakeholders involved in the compliance project
• Support HR administrative activities related to employee records, onboarding documentation, and process consistency
• Handle confidential information with discretion while ensuring records are reviewed and maintained accurately
• Collaborate with HR team members to improve visibility into compliance obligations during ongoing organizational integration efforts• Prior experience in HR operations, HR administration, or compliance-related support
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to review records thoroughly and identify documentation gaps
• Comfort working with sensitive employee information while maintaining confidentiality
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and tracking tools used for reporting and data validation
• Familiarity with employee relations processes, onboarding documentation, and benefit-related HR functions
• Experience using HRIS platforms to access, review, and maintain employee data
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a structured, deadline-driven environment
