Light Industrial Assembler
Job Description
Join our team as a Light Industrial Assembler where you will engage in electro-mechanical assembly tasks, interpreting blueprints, performing quality inspections, and utilizing micrometers and other tools to ensure precision.
Responsibilities- Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies, cable and wiring harnesses, chassis, and subsystems according to assembly work instructions and top assembly drawings.
- Test subassemblies using laboratory instrumentation, test jigs, and fixtures according to test procedures.
- Perform Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) as required.
- Support SDB wing assembly and other programs as needed.
- Conduct basic and intricate electronic/electro-mechanical assembly functions on prototype and production hardware.
- Utilize hand or power tools, torque wrenches, and other manufacturing tools following work instructions.
- Perform rework from test failures in accordance with standard repair procedures.
- Possibly serve as a team leader, providing training to new staff and evaluating performance and finished work.
- 2 years of Technical School or AS degree, or 2 years of applicable job experience.
- Proficiency with hand tools, small power tools, torque wrenches, and electronic lab instrumentation such as o-scopes, power supplies, and DVM.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, drawings, and schematic diagrams.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- On-the-job training is provided to fulfill position requirements.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, AL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
