About the Role

What You'll Do

As a Quality Control Laboratory Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Perform chemical and physical testing of pharmaceutical raw materials using validated compendial and internally developed methods.
  • Conduct testing for product identity, strength, purity, and impurities using chromatography, spectroscopy, and traditional wet chemistry techniques.
  • Analyze data and identify out-of-specification, unexpected, or non-routine results, escalating issues and recommending solutions when appropriate.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation to ensure optimal performance.
  • Accurately document testing activities, analytical procedures, and results in accordance with laboratory procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate findings clearly and effectively with team members and cross-functional departments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
  • Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and safety regulations.
  • Support ongoing compliance with company, facility, and regulatory standards.
What We're Looking ForEducation
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline required.
  • Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field preferred.
Experience
  • No prior laboratory experience required. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and laboratory data systems is a plus.
  • Exposure to chromatographic techniques or laboratory instrumentation is beneficial but not required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of High Point, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.50 - $24.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
