  • Lift and move materials and molded parts weighing up to approximately 40 pounds as part of routine tasks.
  • Carry molded parts to designated staging areas for subsequent operations, maintaining proper workflow.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly manner to support safety and efficiency.
  • Follow all prescribed safety rules and company regulations at all times.
  • Perform other production-related duties as required and directed to support team and departmental goals.
Essential Skills

  • Background in operating extrusion machines or similar industrial equipment.
  • Comfort working with rubber and metal-rubber bonded components in an industrial setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team of operators and follow guidance from a lead operator.
  • Strong reliability and willingness to learn and follow established processes and procedures.
Why Work Here?

You will join a close-knit team of operators in a stable manufacturing environment where hands-on training and mentorship are central to your success. The role offers a clear pathway from trainee to fully trained operator, with structured shift schedules and regular breaks to support work-life balance. Safety equipment is provided, and you can build valuable, practical skills in molding operations that enhance your long-term career prospects in manufacturing.

Work Environment

The role is based in the Molding Department within an older, industrial manufacturing facility, where you will work alongside a team of approximately 10 other operators. You will begin as a Molding Operator Trainee, paired with a Lead Operator who will train you on the molding machines and processes. Training takes place on 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for about one month. After training, you move to 2nd shift, working Monday through Thursday on 10-hour shifts from 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. The facility uses machinery that dates back several decades, providing a traditional, hands-on manufacturing environment rather than a state-of-the-art setting. You receive a half-hour lunch break and two 10-minute breaks during your shift. The dress code requires work pants, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses; safety glasses are provided.
