Job Title: Form Setup TechnicianJob Description

The Form Setup Technician is responsible for adjusting, assembling, repairing, and setting up steel and wood forms used in the production of precast concrete products. This position supports daily manufacturing operations by ensuring forms are properly configured, aligned, and ready for concrete placement. The role requires working in a fast-paced production environment, particularly during the first half of each shift, and involves the use of basic hand tools, power tools, carpentry techniques, and welding skills.

Responsibilities
  • Adjust, assemble, and prepare steel forms and form components for concrete production.
  • Build, modify, and repair wood formwork and related fixtures.
  • Set up forms according to production drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Install, align, secure, and remove form components as required.
  • Perform measurements to ensure proper form dimensions and tolerances.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform basic welding and cutting tasks to repair or modify form components.
  • Work throughout the production floor supporting form setup and changeovers.
  • Collaborate with production personnel to meet daily manufacturing goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality requirements.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
  • Basic carpentry experience.
  • Ability to read and write simple instructions.
  • Effective communication with team members.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs periodically.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Manufacturing or construction experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic math and measurements.
  • Comfortability in a dirtier work environment.
  • Steel toe shoes required.

Work Environment

This is an indoor/outdoor facility that does not have temperature-controlled conditions. Candidates must be comfortable working in this environment. The position operates Monday through Friday, from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with current shifts lasting 8-11 hours per day.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
