Job Description
We are seeking a skilled phlebotomist to join our fast-paced naturopath office located at Chambers North Scottsdale. This role involves drawing blood and performing specimen processing within a doctor's office setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for the collection and receipt of biological specimens, ensuring accurate entry into the computer system, and preparing samples for analytical testing or distribution to the appropriate analytical area. This position also entails performing specified analytical testing as assigned, all while adhering to the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.
Responsibilities
- Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.
- Ensure proper entry of specimens into the company's computer system.
- Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute specimens to the correct analytical area.
- Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
- Follow the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.
Essential Skills
- At least 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience.
- Proficiency in blood draw and specimen processing.
- Experience in patient care, especially with patients that are difficult draws.
- Ability to be a team player and have excellent customer service skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- GED or High School Diploma required.
- Capability to handle a fast-paced work environment.
- Live within 15 or 16 miles of the workplace.
Work Environment
The phlebotomist will work within a doctor's office, drawing blood from the physician's patients and collaborating closely with medical assistants. The office operates Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Dress code is black or burgundy scrubs and close toed shoes.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
