Job Description
This role supports a busy hospital facility by managing warehouse inventory, stocking incoming products, and building carts to deliver supplies and equipment throughout the hospital. You ensure that requested items are accurately prepared and delivered, while keeping work areas organized, clean, and well-stocked.
Responsibilities- Receive incoming freight and stock products in the warehouse, ensuring items are shelved correctly and match accompanying paperwork.
- Use the computer system, handwritten vouchers, telephone requests, and walk-up inquiries to identify and fulfill supply and equipment orders.
- Build and prepare carts with the correct supplies and equipment for delivery to various areas within the hospital.
- Deliver parts, supplies, and equipment throughout the facility in a timely and accurate manner.
- Remove empty boxes, packaging materials, and trash from assigned work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Perform general labor tasks associated with warehouse operations, including lifting, moving, and organizing inventory.
- Support shipping and receiving activities as needed to ensure efficient flow of materials.
- Maintain accurate awareness of warehouse inventory levels and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Follow established procedures and safety guidelines while working on your feet throughout the day.
- Ability to perform general labor tasks in a warehouse environment.
- Capability to work on your feet all day in a very active role.
- Basic ability to use a computer system to review and process requests.
- Attention to detail when checking paperwork and matching it to incoming freight.
- Reliability in delivering supplies and equipment accurately and on time.
- Strong organizational skills for stocking, shelving, and building carts.
- Effective communication skills to handle telephone and walk-up requests.
- Prior experience with SAP or similar inventory management systems is a plus but not required.
- Previous warehouse, inventory, or shipping and receiving experience is helpful but not mandatory.
- Comfort working in a hospital or large facility environment.

Work EnvironmentYou work in a small but busy warehouse that contains a wide variety of parts and supplies supporting a hospital facility. The position is highly active, requiring you to be on your feet all day while stocking products, building carts, and delivering items throughout the building. You regularly move through different areas of the facility to deliver parts and supplies, and you use warehouse inventory systems, including an SAP-based system, to support operations. The environment is fast-paced and hands-on, with a focus on accuracy, cleanliness, and safe handling of materials.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Spokane, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
