Medical Assembly
Job Description
Join a dynamic team where you'll be trained on several operations, including the packaging of diabetic testing kits and the hand assembly of diabetic needles. You will primarily stand while assembling kits, which include 5-10 items, following work orders to complete each type. Your role will involve placing parts into kits, scanning products to register their ID numbers, and preparing them for final packaging. The work is fast-paced, but the focus is on quality over quantity. Additionally, you may engage in hand assembly where you will work on parts ranging from the size of a pen cap to a sewing needle, with a goal of completing up to 1400 parts per shift. You could also learn coil winding, which involves handling fine wires and utilizing a microscope for inspection. Lastly, you'll have the opportunity to operate machines assembling diabetic needles, monitoring for jams, and ensuring quality.
