We're seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join a collaborative team supporting order processing, customer communications, and operational workflows. What You'll Do- Process and enter customer orders accurately while maintaining organized records and tracking order status.
- Monitor a shared inbox and provide timely support for customer, shipping, and billing inquiries.
- Coordinate order fulfillment, including shipping label generation, package preparation, and shipment tracking.
- Process customer documentation, support billing adjustments, and collaborate with internal teams to keep orders moving efficiently.
- 1+ year of experience in customer service, data entry, order processing, or light accounting.
- Previous order processing experience is required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-starter who can work independently and take initiative.
- Positive attitude and strong customer service mindset.
- Administrative support experience.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- QAD experience is a plus.
- Experience supporting operations, logistics, or fulfillment processes.
- 100% onsite in Rochester, MN
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- One-hour lunch break
- Approximately 6-month contract assignment
- Potential for permanent employment based on performance and business needs
This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
