An established environmental and engineering consulting firm is expanding its engineering team and seeking a Senior Process Engineer to support complex industrial and municipal wastewater projects throughout Southern California. What You'll Do- Lead and execute industrial and municipal wastewater projects from planning through delivery
- Perform wastewater process and systems design
- Review engineering documents, drawings, reports, and specifications
- Provide technical leadership and QA/QC oversight
- Review, approve, and stamp engineering deliverables as appropriate
- Mentor engineers and designers within a collaborative engineering team
- Support project planning, permitting, troubleshooting, and system optimization
- Interface with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders
- Help build engineering capacity and strengthen technical capabilities across the organization

- Industrial wastewater treatment
- Municipal wastewater treatment
- Wastewater process design
- Collection and conveyance systems
- Pump stations
- Water reuse
- Treatment and storage facilities
- Design-build projects

- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience supporting wastewater systems and process design
- Industrial and/or municipal wastewater project experience
- Ability to review technical deliverables and provide engineering oversight
- Experience leading projects and mentoring technical staff
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to work onsite in Orange County, California
- California PE
- Industrial wastewater treatment expertise
- Process engineering background
- Design-build project experience
- Regulatory compliance and permitting experience
- Experience with water reuse, conveyance, pretreatment, or pump station projects
- Remediation experience (particularly for Civil PE candidates)

Compensation is commensurate with experience, technical expertise, and wastewater process engineering depth.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Orange, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $220000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
