We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support personal lines insurance clients in a Contract position based in Hingham, Massachusetts. This role focuses on delivering responsive service, guiding customers through policy-related requests, and ensuring records and documentation are handled accurately. The ideal candidate brings a service-first mindset, communicates confidently with clients and carriers, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with Monday through Friday scheduling.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day service needs for personal lines insurance accounts, ensuring client requests are addressed promptly and professionally.
• Handle policy updates, renewals, and terminations with careful attention to accuracy, timing, and compliance requirements.
• Respond to customer questions about coverage details and provide support throughout the claims process.
• Work directly with insurance carriers to obtain pricing information, resolve servicing matters, and follow up on outstanding items.
• Generate and organize policy documents, correspondence, and account files while maintaining complete and up-to-date client records.
• Collaborate with internal departments to provide a seamless customer experience and consistent account support.
• Foster strong working relationships with both clients and carrier partners to support long-term service success.
• Keep current with insurance offerings, carrier expectations, and underwriting practices to provide informed assistance.• At least 1 year of experience in customer service; insurance industry experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage inbound customer interactions professionally and efficiently.
• Experience supporting call center or high-volume service environments is beneficial.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Comfortable handling order entry, account updates, and related administrative tasks with accuracy.
• Ability to balance inbound and outbound communication while managing multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with standard office systems and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
