Responsibilities
- Plan and execute maintenance and repair functions.
- Purchase and manage machine/equipment spare parts.
- Complete various machine maintenance tasks and repair reports.
- Assist management with preventative measures to reduce waste and quality issues due to equipment breakdowns.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Attend safety committee meetings and maintain safety standards.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining work instructions and procedures for maintenance functions.
- Investigate and conduct Root Cause Analysis for production loss or quality problems related to equipment malfunctions.
- Participate in the continuous improvement program (Kaizen).
- Input information for budget and management plan preparation.
- Train team members and supervise maintenance tasks.
- Assign and perform maintenance and repair tasks.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- TIG and MIG welding skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of metric system.
- Experience with personal computer software (Microsoft Windows, Excel).
- Crane and forklift licenses (may be obtained within the first three months of employment).
- Robotics experience is a plus.
- Experience with overhead crane maintenance and slitter machine setup.
- Background in automotive manufacturing/supplier industry is beneficial.

Work Environment
Work within a modern and clean climate-controlled warehouse and production facility. The role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 100 pounds. Be prepared to work near moving mechanical parts in a loud environment, with mandatory use of safety equipment. Shifts run from 3 PM to 11:45 PM, Monday through Friday, with some weekend shifts required. Initial training will be conducted on the first shift for approximately six months.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Princeton, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.82 - $28.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
